Acquisition of an asset in Meyzieu
MILU REIM announces the completion of its first acquisition: a standalone light industrial building of approximately 2,000 m², located in the Meyzieu industrial zone, east of Lyon.
Ideally situated in an established area with excellent accessibility, this site offers solid fundamentals and good divisibility. MILU REIM plans to launch a renovation program aimed at enhancing and certifying the asset, while initiating a re-leasing strategy facilitated by the site’s flexible use.
This transaction is fully in line with MILU REIM’s strategy, which targets industrial properties and warehouses located in established areas throughout France, with transaction values ranging from €2 million to €50 million. The team focuses its investments on vacant or occupied assets with strong fundamentals—location, accessibility, technical features—and demonstrating potential for value creation in the short or medium term. This strategy includes the enhancement of existing assets through renovations, tenant repositioning, as well as partnerships with developers on development, redevelopment, or restructuring projects.
“Our objective is perfectly illustrated by this first transaction: to position ourselves quickly, offer genuine execution security to our sellers, and activate value creation levers on well-located assets in deep markets with good rental liquidity,” states Adrien Jibert, managing partner of MILU REIM.
MILU REIM aims to quickly establish itself as an agile and responsive player in the logistics and industrial market. Several other acquisitions are currently underway, representing a total value of approximately €20 million.
The site was acquired from the AMDG Group.
For this first transaction, MILU REIM was supported by Core Groupe, Archers, and Étude Screeb Notaires.
